Gain Confidence for College: Take a Bridge Class
Instruction bridges the gap between where your academic skills are now and where you will need them to be in order to succeed in college. Bridge courses are a perfect way to brush up on your skills - whether you plan to attend college in the future or are currently taking college courses.
The Bridge Department offers classes to help you improve your:
- Reading Speed
- Reading Comprehension
- Vocabulary
- Essay Writing
- Grammar
- Study Skills
- Test-Taking Skills
How to Determine if You Need Bridge Classes
Take the Accuplacer Assessment if you have not had previous college-level English. If your placement scores show that you're not ready for college-level English, you will be advised to take Bridge classes to improve your reading and writing skills.
If you have any questions about your scores or placement, please call 425-640-1593 to make an advising apointment.
